Tighten up gland nut behind control handle occasionally .
Do not run low in petrol .
If there is a flame at the nozzle jet over the burner tighten up nozzle jet , with spanner provided , while this is hot .

and from then on the operation of lighting and controlling the flame is the same as on a Gas Stove . The only difference being that you open the control tap FULLY ON first lighting from cold and do not reduce the flame until this has been alight for 2 minutes .
See that you get a BLUE FLAME . A Yellow flame is sooty and no heat comes from this . Correct a yellow flame by turning down slightly .
