A tailpiece to Operation Burberry was a presentation by the Chief Fire Officer for Oxfordshire to the Bicester Mess of a rather unusual memento in the form of a mounted replica of a County Force helmet. No doubt quite a consversation piece in years to come. The plaque on the memento reads "The Thin Green Line 14/11/77 to 15/1/78"
