RSM Goodeve's last day, December 1972. As reported in the RAOC Gazette (Jan 1993, p. 429) "On the final day of the RSM's handover all the permanent staff were invited to the Corporals Mess for drinks and a curry lunch, where the RSM said his final farewells. Finally, the RSM was marched off by the Commandant RAOC Training Centre and the CO of the Training Battalion and Depot.
