Major General H J C Hildreth CBE, Director of Ordnance Services, holds the solid silver twin cigarette box which he received on behalf of the Corps from the Lord Mayor of Portsmouth, Councillot E O Bateson, at a City Council meeting in the Guildhall, Portsmouth, on 12th March 1963 in commemoration of the 40 years association of the Corps with Portsmouth from 1921 to 1961.
