The winners and runners up in the RAOC (BAOR) Squash Champioships which were held at the Match Ball Squash Club in Sennelager. RAOC Dulmen overcome HQ NORTH AG, the No 2 seeds, in a thrilling contest. Finals resulted in a victory for Sergeant Bates 6 Ordnance Battalion over Major Hendy RAOC Dulmen in the Plate competition and WQ2 Power 5 Ordnance Battalion defeated Lance Corporal Baxter NORTH AG to take the Novice Cup. The Team event was won by 6 Ordnance Battalion who beat RAOC Dulmen. The old campaigners Major Hendy and WO2 Power met in the Veterans Final where WO2 Power's slightly younger legs carried him to success. As expected the Final of the Open competition was contested between Major Ryder 154 FAD and Corporal Whiteman NORTHAG the No 1 and No 2 seeds respectively. The Match was a fitting climax to the tournament being finely balanced and played in excellent spirit. It resulted in Major Ryder (BAOR) Squash Champion for the second year running.
