PRIVATE ALAN MOY
SECOND LIEUTENANT J. M. WH1TAKER writes: —
Private Alan Moy joined the Army on the 1st February
this year and commenced his training with Gibraltar Platoon
at the Training Battalion and Depot on 3rd March. Through-
out the time he was with the Platoon he impressed everyone
with his hard work, the high standards he achieved and his
pleasant, quiet manner. ,
He made many friends in the Platoon and would have
passed out as an excellent soldier and potential Staff Clerk in
the Corps. He was a man never heard to complain and one
who met every difficult part of training with effort and keen-
ness.
He is much missed by his friends in the Platoon and all
members of the Company extend their sympathy to his parents
and two sisters.
