Photo Staff Sergeant McLean/ Lieutenant Colonel Young says farewell to Herr Franz Birke on his retirement after some thirty years service with the British Forces, the last twenty eight years being with Vehicle Sub-Depot Moenchengfadbach of which the last sixteen years were as Civil Labour Manager* W O t Joe Johnson, with the Army Air Corps, receives his Long Service and Cood Conduct Medal on a Wings Parade. The medal was presented by Major General W a r d - B o o t h , the DA AC. At the presentation of the sculptured head of The Queen by Lieutenant Colonel Jimmy Magee at Headquarter Mess (Reported in the February Gazette}, Lieutenant Colonel Magee, Major General Cornock.
