I C PLANNING BRANCH (BASE ORDNANCE DEPOT) — (Staff Sergeant) (Ref. No. 53/B) The successful applicant will be required to create and head a planning branch concerned with the drafting of depot operating procedures, conducting work study projects, collating and distributing depot statistical data y etc. He must therefore have had a minimum of 15 years service as a Storeman or Clerk Technical; he must have qualified formally as a Work Study Operator and have had at least 2 years post-qualification experience in that field; and he must be thoroughly conversant with modern storage systems and storehouse layout. Experience also in a packaging and preservation plant and/or in a depot planning branch would be a considerable asset. This post carries prospects of promotion to W.O. W.O. I C AMMUNITION SUB-DEPOT — (W.0.1 or W.O.2) (Ref. No. 53/C) The duties of this post involve the day-to-day running of an Ammunition Sub-Depot covering issues, receipts, storage and stock maintenance of all holdings, together with the responsibility for the training of Omani soldiers and locally-employed civilians. Applicants must there- fore be fully conversant with current procedures for the storage and handling of ammunition and be capable of instructing others in these procedures.
