Day Preparatory
The academic aim of the School is to prepare children for the Common
Entrance Examination, and entrance to all Senior schools.
Classes are kept small in order that individual attention can be given to
each child, No class exceeds fourteen children.
The grounds of just over two acres, include a football field, hard play-
ground with tennis/netball court, an adventure playground, and a
heated outdoor swimming pool.
The School is only five minutes drive from Deepcut, and very con-
venient for those stationed at the R.A.O.C. Training Centre. The
Principal, who is an ex Regular R A O . C . Officer, naturally extends a
special welcome to children of R A O . C . families.
Children in the Upper School are encouraged to join the Drama, Art
and Music Societies, which meet after normal school hours. The
School has its own Cub Scout and Brownie Guide Packs.
We believe at Clewborough House that the development of the child
must include preparation in good manners, courtesy to others, and self
discipline. We have taken as our motto 'Work hard, Play hard' and we
encourage the children accordingly.
Further details may be obtained from the Principal.
