Officers should assemble at 19.15 hours for dinner at

Applications* together with overnight accommoda-
tion bids, should be made to the RAOC Secretariat,

Units or Messes prefer to submit bulk applications with
a single cheque covering all their members attending,
who must be listed, this is acceptable. Bids are required
by 9th October and applicants should note that places
will be allocated on the basis of first come first served.
To ensure a fair distribution, applications for the
advanced booking of tables cannot be accepted by tele-
phone. Where whole or part bookings of tables are
made, the application will be accepted as a firm book-
ing only when accompanied by the total sum involved
and the rank and name of every officer concerned.
Tables seat ten persons.
For the last two years transport has been provided
on repayment to meet a suitable train from Waterloo
at Brookwood and to return members to Brookwood
to catch a train at approximately 23.20 hours. Little
use has been made of this facility—last year one member
used the minibus to come to the dinner and nobody
went back to the station in it. Consequently, for 1981
transport will only be provided on repayment if sufficient
members bid for this facility when applying for tickets.
