B. Hopkinson, Exchange Officer at Fort Lee, receiving his US Army parachute wings from Colonel William Foley, Director of the Airborne Department on completion of his parachute course at Fort Lee. He completed five descents, all from fifteen hundred feet. Four were from the U H - 1 H (helicopter) and one from a twin cngined Caribou. The somewhat disgruntled goat in the picture is the mascot! Hardie CRAOC North East District at Scorton, All members of the Prestocked Unit Equipment Section were present at the ceremony at which CRAOC paid tribute to M r Ta rren s twenty seven years service at the unit. M r Tarren retires to devote his time to his life long hobby of showing horses. Sergeant Dave Dupree of HQ RAOC 2 Armoured Division was narrowly beaten in his attempt to regain the BAOR and Army ten pin bowling title but shows in this action shot that he has not stopped trying.
