DANGER—WILLIAMSON.—The engagement is announced
between William David, only son of Lieutenant Colonel (Retd)
and Mrs D. L. P. Danger, of Preston, Lanes, and Carol, only

Northern Ireland. During his tour in Belgium he had under-
taken an eight month tour of duty in Canada.
His service dates back to 1962 when he joined the Corps
as a driver and later became a Vehicle Specialist During those
years he served in Germany, Aden, Hong Kong, Canada and
Belgium,
He was a very popular and well respected member of the
Unit who took an unusually high interest in most Station
activities. He was noted for his willingness to help anyone at
any time.
A native of Durham, and a large man physically, he dis-
played qualities of compassion, thoughtfulness and plain com-
monsense. He was a devoted family man and father of two
boys.
The funeral was held, with full military honours, in Rhein-
dahlen and was attended by his family, friends and colleagues.
All members of his Unit join me in offering his wife and
two sons Sean and Robin, our sincere sympathy at the tragic
loss.
