CENTRAL
FUNDS
UNDER a Deed of Trust first issued by the Charity Com-
mission in 1952 the following funds were established to
receive the assets of disbanded RAOC Units: RAOC Central
Officers Mess Fund, RAOC Central Sergeants Mess Fund and
RAOC Central PRI Fund.
The conduct of the funds is regulated by a Board of
Trustees consisting of:—Representative Colonel Commandant
(Chairman), Director General of Ordnance Services, Com-
mander RAOC Training Centre, Corps Secretary and Corps
Treasurer.
At the discretion of the Trustees grants may be made to
Messes and Regimental Institutes, or otherwise for the benefit
of persons serving in the RAOC. The Standing Orders regard-
ing the administration of the Funds are in Corps Instruction
No. 610.
In the financial year ending 31st May 1978 the following
sums were received in respect of disbanded Units:—(i) Central
Officers Fund £512.52, (ii) Central Sergeants Fuad £212.70, (in)
Central PR1 Fund £363.21 and in the same period the following
allocations were made:—

RAOC AIRBORNE OFFICERS DINNER
THE ANNUAL DINNER will be held on Friday, 1st December
1978, at the Headquarters RAOC Officers Mess. Tickets will
be £6,50 each and will include pre-dinner drinks and wines at
table. Overnight accommodation will be available, The Corps
band will play during the evening. The dinner is open to
Officers past and present who have served or are serving with
Airborne Forces. Applications to Colonel X, T. Palmer, HQ
COD Bicester who will in addition to this notice be writing to
those Officers who have attended previous reunions.

THE Corps Christmas Card for 1978 highlights the fact
that, during the year, we celebrated our RAOC Diamond
Jubilee and the Silver Jubilee of Her Majesty The Queen
as our Colonel-in-Chief.
The Card is of good quality, single folded, measuring
4-in x 6-in and containing
Front (in gold) The RAOC Badge with motif
'Diamond Jubilee 1918-197$:
Inside Front Fold (in gold) The Royal Cypher with
motif * Silver Jubilee—Col on el -in -Chief 1953-1978/
Inside Back Fold (in black) Greetings—' With Best

Printed in small type at bottom of this side is * In
1918 the Royal Army Ordnance Corps was formed
by the amalgamation of the Army Ordnance Depart-
ment and the Army Ordnance Corps.*
The Card costs l i p which includes the cost of packaging
and postage to Units at home and overseas. Orders,
together with cheques/postal orders to cover the cost,
should be forwarded to the Corps Secretary and made
payable to the ' RAOC Association/ RAOC Secretariat,
Deepcut, Camberley, Surrey.
at 31st May 1978 the Accumulated Funds were: —
Officers Fund £7,204 (including £4,117 investment),
Sergeants Fund £9,310 (including £7,531 investment),
PRI Fund £24,051 (including £19,432 investment).
