THE RAOC GAZETTE ADVERTISEMENTS Holt's Branches of Williams& Glyn's Bank Army and Royal Air Force Agents Holt's has looked after the financial affairs of servicemen for over 170 years. As well as personal current accounts we provide the specialist banking facilities required by individual servicemen throughout their careers and in retirement • Army and Royal Air Force Agents The Agents no longer have any responsibility for pay. For the Army, the Agents' duties are laid down in AGAI Vol. ill Chapter 95. The main purpose is to provide free impartial and unbiased advice to formations, units and individuals whether they bank with Williams & Glyn's Bank or not. Though not specifically mentioned in equivalent RN or RAF publications the Agents provide identical financial facilities for those Services. Indeed, a Senior Official of Holt's Branch, Whitehall is a Ship's Agent. • Savings and Investment Holt's is officially appointed to provide a free savings advisory service for the benefit of service personnel. In addition to the usual investment advice and service, which many Banks offer, Holt's can provide regular portfolio reviews and manage your investments no matter where you may be serving. • Advice on House Purchase Whether you're settling down after retirement or want to give your family a permanent base, Holt's willbe glad to advise you on all aspects of house purchase. • Resettlement Holt's can help you make the most of your gratuity or terminal grant. We will advise you on such matters as commutation of pension. • Your Child's Education Though you may well be in receipt of Boarding School Allowance, you will probably have a cash-flow problem when the time comes to pay school fees. Holt's may be able to help you, in advance, with specifically geared investments or other Schemes. Grand-parental Deeds of Covenant may have a part to play and specialist advice on such Deeds is available. • Taxation Services Our specialist department is available to help you with your tax affairs, particularly for those serving overseas who may qualify as non-resident for some tax purposes. • Life Assurance and General Insurance Most servicemen need some insurance for their families, themselves and their effects. Holt's can give expert advice on all insurance matters, but are not tied to any Company by commission agreements and can therefore survey the entire Market for you. No insurance commission is paid to any member of our staff when a sale is made. • Trustee Services You can appoint us as Trustee for Wills, Charitable Trusts and Settlements of all types. • Service non-public fund accounts Holt's offer a full investment and tax advice service to trustees of service non-public funds.
