Transcription REGULAR
FORCES
EMPLOYMENT
ASSOCIATION
THIS Association is part of the Forces Resettlement Service. It
exists to help Servicemen and women to find suitable employ-
ment when they leave the Forces. It also takes a long term
interest in ex-Regulars, who may use its services as often as they
wish.
The Association has forty branches covering the United
Kingdom, and its Employment Officers—all ex-Regulars—are
in close touch with employers. It provides all services free.
During the period 1st April 1981—31st March 1982 the
Association placed some three thousand six hundred and thirty
five men and women from the Services in employment; of these
jobs one thousand four hundred and sixty five were for men
and women from the Army and ninety three were from RAOC.
Addresses and telephone numbers of Branches can be
obtained from Corps and Regimental Associations—or from
Post Offices, Employment Offices or local telephone directories.
THE
RAOC
G U A R D OF
AT THE
LORD
MAYORS
HONOUR
SHOW
THE historic scene at the Mansion House has been com-
memorated by a full scale painting by the leading artist Joan
Wanklyn which now forms part of the Headquarters RAOC
Officers Mess collection.
The picture is most striking, the Palladian City buildings
forming a splendid background to the pageantry of the scene, the
Lord Mayor Sir Christopher Lever taking the salute from the
Corps Guard of Honour at The Present with the Corps Band in
the left foreground and the Lord Mayor's coach drawn up.
A limited edition print of three hundred copies has been
produced and is now available for distribution. Each copy is
signed and numbered by the Artist.
The print, size approximately eighty eight by fifty three
centimetres, is in full colour with a white border for framing.
Copies are now available price £10 including packaging and
postage from the RAOC Secretariat.
Please note that it is advisable to leave the unpacking of the
print to your picture-framer to avoid damage by creasing.
The photograph of the painting, shown below, excludes the
extreme edges, left and right.
