SENIOR AMMUNITION
TECHNICAL OFFICER
(Major)
To advise the Director of Ordnance Services on
all matters pertaining to ammunition, explosives
and missiles.
Applicants must be former R A O C Ammunition
Technical Officers or Ammunition
Executive
Officers with experience in the disposal of
improvised explosive devices and have experience
of Ammunition Inspectorate and H Q duties. Age
limit is 55.
This is a uniformed contract appointment for two
years, unaccompanied. P a y (in Omani Rials) is
equivalent to £19,250 at the current rate of
exchange. There is an end-of-contract gratuity of
20%
of total pay received; pay and gratuity
are normally tax free and remittable.
Mess
accommodation and services are provided free
and 20 days U K leave is granted three times per
year with air passages paid. Interested applicants
