gave out in return for collecting firewood and washing up.
Washing proved to be a novelty for the villagers for soap
was a completely new idea. They were introduced to local folk
music and dances in the evenings and lived on bread baked
daily, fresh eggs and very sweet Moroccan tea.
The complete trek was a circle finishing back in Bou-Thara,
and on their return they took time to explore the Souks of
Marrakesh and Tangier, and the Gibraltar Rock with its
resident apes. Finally flew back from Gibraltar into Luton.

DRAMA
THE Dulmen Amateur Dramatic Society (DADS) recently
returned triumphant from the British Forces Germany Drama
Festival final presentation night with the much coveted ad-
judicators special trophy. DAD's entry in the competition
'Count Dracula' was jointly produced by WOl Steve Myers,
who also played the leading role, and Sergeant Duncan Wilson-
Paisley.
Both are Founder Members of the Society (the
newest in BAOR) which has grown from strength to strength
since its formation in November 1981.
' Count Dracula ' was the Society's first attempt at a straight
play and gained tremendous praise and many compliments from
the Adjudicators. Praise also for the Society's efforts were
further highlighted at the final awards ceremony and on a sub-
sequent interview with Mr Michael Lambe on BFBS Radio.

GOLFKR
FOR the past six years it has been the ' young professionals'
who have dominated the BAOR Golf scene. The position has
changed somewhat since the arrival of Major Nigel Ramsden,
OIC Loans and Repair at Forward Ordnance Depot Dulmen.
Nigel, a ' Kack Handed' player has won the BAOR Match
Play Championship, the BAOR (RAOC) Spring Meeting, the
BAOR Infantry Championship, runner-up in the RAF Gutersloh
Open Meeting, and the thirty six holes handicap cup to men-
tion but a few.
He says that whenever he has applied for coaching he has
always been told to reverse his grip if he wanted to improve,
