A total of eighteen R E M E Apprentices left the College to commence training as Clerks, Storemen o r Electricians with R E M E . T h e six remaining members of staff formed a Colour Party which led the term leavers past the Reviewing Officer, Major General Whalley and off the square for the last time. T h e six R E M E members of the staff were Major T. I. Bunyard, Lieutenant D . Haynes, Staff Sergeant Burns, Sergeant Maguire, Corporal Ryan and Lance Corporal Richards. NOTICES Editor : COLONEL E. The DCOS speaks to one of the last REME Apprentices to leave the RAOC Apprentices College—A/Private Naylor. Major Bunyard said on leaving:—The departure of REME ends a long and happy association. On behalf of all members of REME who have served at the RAOC Apprentices College, every good yvish is extended to the College for success in all their many future endeavours.
