Teachers and DS watch Captain Bill Wiseman (worm omelette!). cook supper tained each other, ate well, drank well a n d slept the better for it. The morning task found u s once again in the canal racing against the clock and then it was back to Scarborough Barracks for live firing on the range. T h e exercise was rounded off by a superb buffet when Major Dalby Welsh, O C 12 Ordnance C o m p a n y presented the winning team with Unit T-shirts. The weekend was thoroughly enjoyed b y all and was felt t o be of great personal value. N o t only did it provide for civilians a greater understanding of things military b u t we ourselves felt that we discovered a little more of ourselves and o u r colleagues. On behalf of the Osnabruck Teachers Mess I would like to thank Major Dalby Welsh, Captain Wilcox, Captain Wiseman, CSM Daniel a n d the men involved in running Exercise Smikes Revenge for their superb organisation, efficiency a n d the hospitality.
