Onward, Then ye people, Join our happy throng, Blend with ours your voices In the triumph song; Glory, Laud and Honour Unto Christ the King; This through countless ages Men and Angels sing. THE BIDDING Brethren, we are come together in .the presence of Almighty God to offer unto him through our Lord Jesus Christ, our praise and thanks giving; to pray for all men, and especially for those who have served or are serving in the Royal Corps of Transport and to dedicate ourselves afresh to the service of God, our Queen and Country. Wherefore let us first humbly confess our sins to Almighty God. All shall say: Almighty God, we confess to you our neglect and forget- fulness of your commandments, our wrong doing, speaking and thinking; the hurts we have done to others and the good we have left undone. God, forgive your people who have sinned against you and raise us to newness of life, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. THE ABSOLUTION May the Almighty and Merciful Lord grant unto you pardon and remission of all your sins, time for amendment of life and the grace and comfort of the Holy Spirit. Amen. All shall say: THE LORD'S PRAYER 2 |
