In the beauty of the lilies Christ was born across the sea; With a glory in his bosom that transfigures you and me; As he died to make men holy, Let us live to make men free, While God is marching on. He is coming like the glory of the morning on the wave; He is wisdom to the might; He is succour to the brave. So the world shall be his footstool, and the sould of time His slave, Our God is marching on. THE BLESSING THE NATIONAL ANTHEM (1st verse only) Regimental/Association Standards will be returned to bearers whilst the Band plays. You are requested to remain in your seat until invited guests have left the Church. All who wish to take part in the parade should proceed to the assembly area immediately after the Church Service. The salute is to be taken by R A BETHELL JP MFH Lord Lieutenant of the County of Humberside. The Scarborough Branch of the RASC/RCT Association wishes to record their appreciation of the assistance given in the planning and organising of this Service by: 7 |
