The first Annual Driving Competition of the Wagoners Reserve held at York Dale, Fimber, July
1913. The photograph gives a good overall view of the course, with the competitors riding t/ieir
horses postilion fashion. Fimber railway station can be seen in the background and to the right
part of the crowd, these events attracted quite a following.
A poster advertising a preliminary driving
contest for the Wagoners Reserve to be held at
Garrowby. The winners were entitled to
compete in the main competition at Fimber
later in that fateful year of1914.
