CELEBRATIONS marking the 50th anniversary of Bicester Ordnance Depot start with a march past on May 17 .
The Royal Army Ordnance Corps staff band is to head the morning parade through the town centre .
Soldiers from units stationed at Bi cester will take part the RAOC , the Royal Pioneer Corps Corps of Transport .

In the afternoon the band will play in the grounds of Garth Park , Laun ton Road , from 3pm .
A time capsule will be buried in the Depot on May 19 and a road in E site will be named Anniversary Avenue .
The name will commemorate the 50th birthday of the Depot and the 40th anniversary of the Queen's accession .
There will also be a
cricket match
between the military and civilian staff of the depot and a garrison fete on May 21 .
