6 HA RAO | 277 UPON ARMISTICE DAY 11TH NOVEMBER 1922 , A MEMORIAL WAS UNVEILED ON THIS SITE DEDICATED TO 606 ALL RANKS OF THE ARMY ORDNANCE CORPS WHO CAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE CREAT WAR 1914-1919 . THEY ARE NOW COMMEMORATED ON THE WAR MEMORIAL ( 1914-19 AND 1939-45 ) AT MINDEN BARRACKS DEEPCUT . BUT THEIR NAMES ARE ALSO TO BE SEEN ON THE ORIGINAL PLAQUE ENSHRINED IN ST BARBARA'S CHURCH HILSEA .
