Ridout CENTRAL ORDNANCE DEPOT DIDCOT , Berkshire Telegrams : Ordnance , Didcot Telephone : Didcot 2191 ( 15 lines ) Ext 156 18 September 1963 ARAOC Museum Reference your letter dated 29th July 1963 . The photo received by you from Mac and enclosed , was , I believe , taken in 1932 and was of the first parade on the new Parade Ground , Vauxhall Bks . I have not been able to help more on the Officers but I have filled in names and subsequent ranks of some of the ORS in the ranks . On the other photos taken on the Final Parade , I have completed the names of Officers but not ORs , as they had all been posted away from Didcot prior to receipt of your letter . I am sending to you by Capt . Allen of HQ Stores Org . next Monday , the photo you require of Col. N. B. Bainbridge , COO Didcot 17th May 1920 21st October 1926 , also one taken at Woolwich . I had collected together about a dozen photos of various DSOS , but HQ Stores Org . saw them and now want them at that HQ . Age Yours Lt. Col. W. H. J.
