He died in 1980 but have only recently come to light amongst my mothers papers when she died in 2007. Raymond William Clayton , Army No. 7582248 enlisted in 1923 at the age of 18 and served in the U.K. , Rhine , Egypt for a duration of 6 years 153 days . Thats all I know of his record .
