5. Stores . Bids for all training stores were made to RSD Thatcham . RSD Thatcham would not guarantee that everything asked for would be available . It is therefore recommended that this unit invests in some basic adventure training equipment . A detailed letter , with proposals and costings will be submitted to the CO shortly . It is also recommended that an instructor should go to Thatcham to check over the quality and quantity of the equipment on collection .
6. Transport . A bid for exercise vehicles was submitted to TMP Ashford . In actual fact the following vehicles were supplied from TMP Warminster :
Truck utility 4 ton GS - x 3
Truck utility ton
Ambulance ton
T / r cargo ton
7. The PRI minibus was hired with the grant received from Southern District .
8. DTU provided an MT NCO for each phase of the ex who generally kept all the vehicles in top condition .
EX EXECUTION
9. General . The ex consisted of three , one week phases . A total of 96 all ranks attended with a permanent staff , in total of 20 .

10. Instructors . All the instructors were from 16 Bn RAOC and Bicester Gar . This was to give everyone an opportunity to get away from Bicester and practice their skills as qualified instructors .
11. It should be noted that many of the established training instructors are leaving this unit in the next 12 months . These include :
